What skills and experience we're looking for

St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate teacher who has an excellent understanding of teaching and learning to join our team as Year 5 teacher. This post is suitable for an excellent classroom practitioner.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support and promote our distinctive Catholic ethos and values.

  • Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations and a commitment to raising standards.

  • Inspire, challenge and motivate children within a creative curriculum.

  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and communication skills to support pupils with different needs and abilities and has high expectations of learning and behaviour for all.

  • An eagerness to be involved in all aspects of school life, working in partnership with parents and other professionals.

  • Be efficient, flexible, well-organised and an excellent team player.
