About this role: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and skilled teacher to join our Morley Primary Academy teaching staff on a part-time basis from September 2026.  

The role will involve teaching in a Key Stage 2 class for three days a week alongside an experienced member of our teaching staff. 

The role is fixed term in the first instance but could be extended depending on future pupil numbers and staffing. 


The ideal candidate will: 

  • Have high aspirations and high expectations of all children’s learning and behaviour 
  • Have a positive attitude and will share our Trust vision, enthusiasm and commitment to improve the pupil’s life chances 
  • Establish good working relationships with colleagues and pupils, with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally 
  • Have experience in primary school teaching 
  • Evidence sustained high quality teaching and reflective practice 
  • Have a supportive attitude towards the ethos and values promoted within our Christian school 
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team, with willingness to support the wider life of the school 
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
