Abbotswood Junior School, the largest junior school in Hampshire, is looking for a KS2 teacher for an immediate start. Abbotswood is ideally situated on the edge of the beautiful New Forest and within close proximity of Southampton City Centre.
We are a lively and happy school with highly motivated, well-behaved and responsive children. With large fields, open spaces and a purpose-built sports hall, we have a pleasant environment in which to work.
This would also be a fantastic opportunity to work in a forward-thinking school with a clear vision for teaching and learning. This has been recognised by the Local Authority who frequently use the school to demonstrate effective Teaching and Learning to other schools.
The position is suitable for either an NQT or experienced teacher.

Abbotswood Junior School, the largest junior school in Hampshire with over 640 children (5/6 form entry), is looking for a KS2 Teacher from September 2025. Abbotswood is ideally situated on the edge of the beautiful New Forest and within close proximity of the bustling city of Southampton.
