We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join our team at Byron Wood Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils during a maternity cover period. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and learning that inspires and challenges every child.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in KS2.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and events.
- A qualified teacher with QTS and experience teaching KS2.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to working within a team.
