At Erpingham Primary School you will find our core Christian values of love, courage, friendship and respect running at the heart of everything we do. As a church school, we believe that God has shown us perfect love and it is our job to share this with everyone in our community. We underpin our curriculum and learning with this love, ensuring that we nurture every child, supporting them and their families to be the best that they can be.
We are looking for an experienced and inspiring KS2 teacher preferably with senior teacher experience (although not essential) to join our team on our school improvement journey; who has a passion for delivering the very best education and care for our young children.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic teacher
- Provides inspiring lessons and routines to promote a love of learning
- Deals wisely with difficulty, creatively with challenge and with resilience through adversity
- Is steadfast on meeting the needs of all children, and see the potential in every child
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Is reflective and ambitious
- Has the desire to continue their own professional development
We can offer:
- a busy, yet caring and supportive environment that actively promotes staff professional development
- friendly, encouraging and positive staff team
- children who come from a range of backgrounds filled with excitement, joy and enthusiasm
- high levels of parental engagement and community support
In return we offer a friendly, supportive team who work hard to meet the needs of everyone in our school; wonderful, enthusiastic children who are genuinely excited by their learning; very small classes; a commitment to supporting staff in their ongoing professional development and a real community environment where everyone has a vital part to play and an opportunity to make a difference. There are so many things which make our schools unique.
Applicants will need to be aware that the school is on a significant school improvement Journey since its’ inspection outcome in March 2026, of requiring Special Measures. There is much support and training occurring which all staff in the federation receive the benefit of.
Please contact the school office to make an appointment to view the school or for an informal discussion about the role.
