- Qualified Teacher Status
Previous Experiences
- Experience of class teaching, either through employment or teaching practice
- Experience of teaching pupils and leading staff in development of a National Curriculum subject
Professional Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and its implications for pupil learning
- Willingness and/or ability to help lead and develop a National Curriculum subject, collaboratively supporting other colleagues
- Knowledge of successful classroom organisation strategies to encourage productive learning
- Relevant skills and knowledge in ICT and the ability to use these in the planning and delivery of lessons
- An understanding of strategies to encourage pupil motivation and good behaviour in class
- Willingness to further own professional knowledge and skills by attendance on relevant training
- Commitment to building upon the high standards already achieved by the school
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Experience in leading a National Curriculum subject.
- Experience of working in Key Stage 2 Classes
- Knowledge of ‘science for learning’ and generative teaching skills
- Experience of coaching and developing colleagues
