Meysey Hampton Church of England Primary is a village school of approximately 105 children set in the heart of Meysey Hampton. It has a well established reputation as a school that encourages all children to develop as individuals within a warm, friendly and creative environment.
The school is arranged into four classes – a single age Reception class (15 children) and 3 mixed year classes combining Years 1 and 2, Years 3 and 4 and Years 5 and 6, each of approximately 30 children.
The school has a strong emphasis on providing high standards in Numeracy and Literacy along with a thematic approach to learning. We pride ourselves on providing a range of extra-curricular activities and would expect a new member of staff to contribute.
We work closely with our local cluster schools and all members of our staff are given opportunities to develop their practice through regular training and meetings.
