What skills and experience we're looking for

Our children say they want their school to be welcoming; a place where they feel secure and are encouraged to do the best of their ability. They want it to be a place where people are kind, honest and happy; a school where differences are celebrated, were they all feel accepted and are respectful towards to each other. Our school website captures this, especially our work around ‘Belonging’ which you can find under ‘Our Children’.

We are looking for a KS2 teacher (not Year 6) who holds these values and would like to join our school. We are looking for a teacher who:

* can motivate, encourage and inspire children, promote their independence and raise their self-esteem;

* has the gift of enthusing and engaging children’s imaginations and innate sense of fun through purposeful learning experiences;

* is passionate about children’s learning, development and welfare, with a commitment to improving life chances for all;

* has high expectations of achievement and behaviour;

* has a positive, happy, friendly and outgoing demeanour.

What the school offers its staff

We promise you:

* a school ethos with kindness and care at the heart of it;

* a highly supportive and dedicated team; a hard-working team where work life balance is important;

* children who thrive on praise and are eager to learn through exciting projects;

* a happy environment for you to work in, which is constantly developing and improving.
