At Queen’s Hill Primary School, we believe that children flourish when they are supported by a welcoming, friendly and highly committed staff team who genuinely care about them, and who challenge them to be the very best versions of themselves.
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic KS2 teacher, most likely in Upper KS2, to join our vibrant and diverse school community from September 2026.
Queen’s Hill is a large, three-form entry primary school on the outskirts of Norwich, serving over 600 pupils with a staff team of more than 90 professionals. Diversity and inclusivity are at the heart of our school culture — we value the differences within our community and actively encourage staff to learn from and support one another.
We are proud of our modern, purpose-built school with outstanding facilities, including:

- Two well-stocked libraries
- Extensive sports facilities
- An outdoor classroom
Our knowledge-rich, inclusive curriculum is enriched by whole-school topic days, specialist Mandarin teaching and creative learning opportunities that inspire curiosity and ambition.
Judged Good by Ofsted (2023) and consistently performing above national averages, we remain relentlessly focused on continuous improvement — for pupils and staff alike.
Professional development is a cornerstone of life at Queen’s Hill. We are a school where CPD sits at the forefront, and where staff are encouraged and supported to continually reflect, learn and refine their practice.
You will benefit from:
- Regular, high-quality CPD
- Collaborative planning within teaching teams
- A dedicated ECT mentor
- Our bespoke Queen’s Hill Development Programme (QHDP), led by experienced in-house colleagues who work alongside you to strengthen and evolve your teaching
Our forward-thinking leadership team work collaboratively with staff, values professional dialogue and is committed to achieving the very best outcomes for both pupils and colleagues — while recognising the importance of a healthy work/life balance.
A new teacher to our school recently commented:
