About you: You will be a talented enthusiastic Teacher with the ability to inspire both pupils and colleagues. As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school. We welcome those with a proven track record of achievement in a KS2 school environment, encouraging applications from both Primary and Junior settings.
This role will include:
· Planning and assessing pupil’s learning using knowledge of school policies, schemes of work and National Curriculum requirements for the relevant curriculum areas.
· Taking responsibility for implementing school policies and practices, including those relating to Equal Opportunities, health and safety and child protection.
- Providing resources for teaching within a year group.
· Using school policy and National Curriculum requirements to set clear targets for improvement of pupils’ achievement and monitor pupils’ progress towards those targets.
· Working as a member of a team, planning co-operatively, sharing information, ideas and expertise.
· Securing a good standard of pupil behaviour in the classroom through establishing appropriate rules and high expectations of discipline which pupils respect.
· Liaising effectively with pupils’ parents/carers.
· Showing a commitment to the wider life of the school including the running of clubs/supporting school events.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree & Teaching Qualification.
- Experience of working with Primary/Junior aged children
- Preferably 5 year+ teaching experience.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and its means of delivery.
- High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work as a team.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
