What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed classroom practitioner with recent and relevant experience in KS2W, experience of leading a subject would be beneficial. We are looking to appoint two teachers who are knowledgeable and passionate about teaching and have an excellent understanding of development of the whole child. Candidates should be committed to improving academic standards and improving the quality of education through effective planning, questioning, engagement, feedback and assessment. We are looking for candidates who are hard-working, dynamic, and resilient to join and contribute to our journey.

Hours: Full Time, 1.0 FTE

We can offer you 2¼ hours per week of guaranteed PPA time. You will be well supported by Senior Leaders and the wider staff team and take part in a thorough induction programme which will enable you to observe other teachers in the classroom. You will receive Little Wandle training and a comprehensive package of regular safeguarding training and updates. All staff have 24/7 access to the NYCC Health Assured Scheme who can provide support with any difficulties you may experience at work or at home. Our Senior Leaders are committed to staff wellbeing and reducing workload and regular surveys give staff a voice and help leaders to make continuous improvements.
