Our school is a single academy situated some 6 miles from Carlisle in the village of Great Corby. Our school day runs from 8.00am – 6pm offering a Before and After School Club and a Nursery. We have gained Healthy School status, an Activemark award, and have our own Travel Plan. Children, parents, staff, and the local people share a great pride in our village school which is at the heart of the community.
There are four teaching areas, an Early Years area for Reception and Nursery, a Class 1 area for years 1&2, a Class 2 area for years 3&4 and a Class 3 area for years 5&6. The children are supported by full time and part time teaching and non-teaching staff.
The school was graded ‘GOOD’ in the last two Ofsteds, September 2018 being the last one. The full report can be accessed under ‘information’ on the school website.
