What skills and experience we're looking for

All students at Castle Hill have Education Health and Care Plans. Students’ specific needs include: communication and social interaction difficulties, cognition and learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder.

We are seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and conscientious Science Teacher to join our outstanding staff team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a passionate teacher with energy, vision and a proven track record of raising standards and providing high quality learning opportunities for all children.
  • Have a commitment to developing the curriculum and working effectively within a team.
  • Promote a broad and balanced education which furthers the inclusive character of our school.
  • Have strong ICT skills and individual talent to enhance the work of the whole school.
  • Be able to inspire children and maximise progress with exciting teaching, as well as being a good communicator with a flexible 'can do' approach.
  • Believe that every child does matter and have high expectations for all our children.
  • Have excellent organisational skills and enjoy a challenge.
  • Be able to maintain good relationships with parents and multi-agencies.
