Candidates will need to demonstrate:

 The ability to plan and deliver inspirational lessons.

 Deep subject knowledge, and an understanding of how children learn.

 An organised approach to teaching and learning and the ability to make positive relationships with students.

 An understanding of the curriculum for Key Stage 3, and the skills to bring this to life for our pupils, building their confidence in reading in writing.

 An innovative, creative and enthusiastic approach to achieve the very best outcomes for our students.

 A passion for developing literacy skills and promoting a love of reading, writing and literature of all kinds to our pupils.
