KS5 Mathematics Co-ordinator job summary
We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, experienced and motivated practitioner, as our KS5 Mathematics Co-ordinator. It is essential for candidates to be able to teach up to Further Mathematics to KS5, you must also be able to teach KS3 and KS4.
You will have high expectations, a commitment to raising standards of attainment and up-to-date knowledge of teaching and behaviour management strategies.
Mathematics is an extremely popular and successful at both KS4 and KS5. At GCSE our GCSE 4+ rate/progress 8 is consistently above national (2018 76%/P8 =+0.24, 2019 77%/P8 =+0.22 and 2020 80%/P8 =+0.42).
At KS5 we have over 200 students who study A level Mathematics, Further A level Mathematics or level 3 Core Mathematics with results in these subjects consistently above the national average. Many students continue to study Mathematics or related subjects at University.
