We are located on the outskirts of Luton close to the M1, A5 link roads and the L&D hospital. Our 3-form entry school has a very diverse school population with a range of different languages, religions and cultures. Our children are well behaved and learn in a vibrant and friendly environment.

About the job

We are looking to appoint a L2 Teaching Assistant.

The role involves supporting pupils individually or in groups in the classroom working under the full direction of the class teacher. You will support the class teacher in all aspects of the classroom organisation, preparing learning resources to support the curriculum and helping to ensure that every child has access to learning opportunities that allow them to develop into independent active learners.

Working hours: 35 hours per week

Monday to Friday 8.15am - to 4:15pm with 1 hour lunch break

Term time only plus 5 inset days (38 weeks a year)

£20,112 - £20,430 actual annual salary

Fixed term contract until August 2027 (with a possibility of extending beyond then)
