There will be some evening and weekend working required to support departmental activities, and whole college recruitment and promotional events.

Plumpton College is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeableLandPro Training Trainerto join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support learners and industry professionals in developing practical skills and technical knowledge within the land-based sector.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality training, assess learner progress, and help ensure that programmes meet industry needs and awarding body requirements. We are looking for someone with strong vocational experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others succeed.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions across LandPro programmes
- Support learners to develop practical and theoretical skills
- Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievement
- Contribute to course planning, development, and quality improvement
- Ensure training is delivered in line with health and safety requirements
- Liaise with employers, colleagues, and external stakeholders as needed
- Keep up to date with relevant industry practices and standards
About you
You will ideally have:
- Experience working in the land-based sector
- Experience delivering training, teaching, or assessing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to motivate and support a wide range of learners
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- A relevant vocational qualification
- A teaching or assessor qualification, or willingness to work towards one
