We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and organised Lead Activities Worker to lead our wraparound care provision and create a welcoming, engaging environment where children can thrive before and after school.

About the Role
As our Lead Activities Worker, you will:
- Lead the day to day running of our breakfast and after school club provision.
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel happy and supported.
- Plan and deliver a wide range of engaging activities including sports, games, arts and crafts, outdoor learning and creative opportunities.
- Lead, support and supervise Activity Workers within the provision.
- Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, families and staff.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and children's welfare are maintained at all times.
- Help develop and improve the provision so that it continues to meet the needs of our children and families.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and nurturing in their approach.
- Has the confidence and skills to lead and motivate a small team.
- Is creative and enjoys planning exciting activities for children.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
- Holds Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding qualifications, or is willing to undertake training.

Level 3 trained or willing to undertake training to gain Level 3.

Additional Opportunity
For suitable candidates, this role may be undertaken alongside a Teaching Assistant position within the school. Where roles are combined, the total contracted hours will be capped at 37.5 hours per week.
