Lead Exam Invigilator job summary

Cardinal Wiseman School is seeking a highly organised, calm, and committed Lead Exam Invigilator to oversee the effective running of examinations across the school. This is a key role in ensuring that all assessments are conducted in line with JCQ regulations and that every student is given the best possible environment to succeed.

This is a flexible, part-time, seasonal role during exam periods, ideal for someone looking to contribute to a school environment in a responsible and rewarding capacity.

About the Role

The Lead Exam Invigilator will:

  • Coordinate a team of exam invigilators
  • Ensure all exams are conducted in accordance with statutory guidelines
  • Manage exam materials securely and efficiently
  • Provide clear briefings and guidance to invigilators and students
  • Support the Exams Officer with preparation, room setup, and post-exam procedures
  • Help maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere for students during exam periods
