We are looking to appoint a Lead Practitioner to provide both excellent teaching and to lead on curriculum subjects throughout the school. A Lead Practitioner would be a consistently good or outstanding teacher, with the results to prove it, who is ambitious and highly motivated to lead others. The Lead Practitioner will do everything possible to raise the quality of teaching and learning throughout the School.

At Bentley West, we believe in working collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting each other to achieve joint success. As part of the Leigh MAT, we share a collective belief that our children should benefit from a provision and experience that both inspires and develops a new generation of young people that can meet the demands of life in the 21st century. As such, you should be able to teach across the ability range for KS1 and KS2, but also have the unequivocal desire to develop pedagogy and practice both at Bentley West and across the Trust.
