Advert - Lead Practitioner - Chemistry specialist with responsibility for trainee teachers

To lead the improvement of the quality of teaching across the academy, with the Academy Leadership team and other lead practitioners, to consistently teach high quality lessons which bring about excellent outcomes for students.
All leaders in the Academy share in implementing the Academy Development Plan, devising strategies for raising achievement and ensuring high standards of behaviour.
The role as LP – Chemistry, will lead on the quality of T&L in chemistry and also lead the professional development programme of our trainee teachers, in collaboration with Heads Of Faculty.

Oasis Academy Enfield opened in September 2007 as a new academy. Initially a group of portacabins and a pioneering spirit, the Academy moved into its £30 million purpose-built accommodation two years later on Innova Business Park, 12 minutes walk from Enfield Lock Station.
The Academy has enjoyed considerable success in its 15 year history. In 2018, Ofsted confirmed that we continue to be a good academy.
