Lead Practitioner for Science job summary
We are seeking to recruit an accomplished science teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning to be our Lead Practitioner in Science. Our Lead Practitioner will work alongside our Head of Science and our other middle leaders in the department.
Our Science Department includes of teacher who are new to the profession, others who are more experienced teachers. All share the same vision namely to provide the very best teaching and learning opportunities to every young person in the school and college.
The Science Department works together to dismantle any barriers to learning learners may experience to enable every child to achieve success regardless of their starting point.
We are committed to providing every child and young person with enrichment opportunities designed to develop drive, resilience, aspiration, integrity and making a contribution to the wider community. Our programme includes pupil and student leadership roles as well as trips and visits, competitions, etc.
Our Lead Practitioner will be creative, enthusiastic and highly motivated and demonstrate high professional standards.
We envisage that our Lead Practitioner will make a contribution to our Teaching and Learning Team led by our Deputy Heads.
