We’re looking for a passionate, engaging and innovative Lead Practitioner in Humanities to bring our Humanities team and school to the next level. This post would be idea for an experienced teacher who is keen to work with a supportive and ambitious team on improving teaching practice across the school. The Humanities faculty is made of experienced heads of department who are committed to ensuring that students achieve their full potential across the faculty
You’ll be responsible for:
• Delivering high-quality teaching in your specialist subject; Geography; Criminology; Sociology
• Establishing a stimulating environment for all students, setting challenging targets that build on prior attainment
• Working with colleagues to develop teaching and learning across the school in line with the vision and ethos of the Academy

You’ll bring:
• A passion for delivering engaging teaching and learning experiences, fostering a deep love of learning in our students
• An ability to provide high quality feedback on teaching and learning across a range of subjects and Key Stages
• A willingness to get involved in all activities in the department, including clubs and trips.
