Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership journey and make a lasting impact on students’ lives? Astrea Academy Woodfields is seeking a passionate and driven Lead Practitioner of Maths to join our ambitious team and lead transformational change in teaching and learning.
In this pivotal role, you will champion excellence in Maths across the academy, ensuring the highest standards of learning, development, and achievement for all scholars. You will plan, prepare, and assess work for all students, including those who are absent, suspended, or in isolation, ensuring no learner is left behind. Your leadership will help remove barriers to learning while maintaining high expectations and academic rigour.
What You Will Do:- Drive high standards of attainment, progress, and outcomes for all scholars.
- Deliver differentiated teaching that builds on prior knowledge and individual capabilities.
- Encourage reflective learning and adapt classroom practice to meet emerging needs.
- Lead by example, modelling outstanding teaching and supporting colleagues to improve practice.
- A highly effective or aspiring middle leader with a proven track record of impact in Maths.
- Someone who shares our values and mission, and thrives in a culture of high expectations.
- A passionate educator who believes every child can succeed, regardless of background or starting point.
