We’re seeking an expert Maths practitioner who can raise the quality of teaching across the department and support colleagues to deliver consistently excellent lessons. 

You will be a leader who: 

  • Improves teaching and learning, modelling strong practice and coaching others to refine their pedagogy 
  • Enhances curriculum design, contributing to a coherent, ambitious Maths curriculum for all learners 
  • Uses assessment and data effectively to raise attainment, identify gaps and secure strong student progress 
  • Sets high expectations, promoting a culture of ambition, professionalism and positive behaviour 
  • Collaborates confidently, building strong relationships with colleagues, leaders, partner schools and external agencies 
  • Contributes to whole‑school improvement, supporting wider initiatives and modelling the school’s values 

You will bring strong subject expertise, excellent communication, and the ability to motivate others—while maintaining high standards for yourself, your team and every student.   

This is a 1 FTE, permanent contract with a start date of September 2026.
