What skills and experience we're looking for
You are warmly invited to apply for the post of Lead Practitioner of Science within the King Edward VI Academy Trust Birmingham. We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and passionate practitioner to take a leading role and support the Faculty Leader in improving the standards of teaching and learning within the faculty. The role will specifically focus on leading Science at KS3 to ensure there are high levels of pupil attainment and progress. The successful candidate will have a passion for curriculum development and implementation, have excellent subject knowledge and be able to inspire and motivate pupils through exceptional teaching practice. The role will include teaching at both Ks3 and Ks4 and will incorporate all three disciplines (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to take the next step in their professional development and join a supportive, collaborative and ambitious school community.
