Lead Receptionist and First Aid Officer job summary

We are looking for someone who is energetic and organised with a calm, confident and helpful manner to support our students. They will have excellent communication skills with a flexible, adaptable and methodical approach to competing demands and changing priorities. Someone who thrives on multitasking within a fun and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the success of our front of house and supporting our students. Responsibilities include welcoming and assisting students and visitors, managing telephone/email enquiries, administering first aid and handling student welfare issues. In addition, they will perform administration duties and some manual handling tasks. The role will primarily be based within our main reception and the first aid area.
Previous experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
The School is in the heart of Chessington close to the train station and bus links. You will be joining an energetic and dedicated team of colleagues working to provide exceptional service to our staff and a group of diverse and rewarding young people.
The successful candidate will:
Maintaining the school reception. Liaising with parents, students, staff and members of the public.
Work with the Operations and School Leadership teams to support excellent communications with the school wider communities.
Be eager to learn, professional and be keen to develop within their role.
