Teaching Assistant / Sports Coach (Split Role - Badocks Wood E-ACT Academy & Merchants' Academy)

Passionate about sport and inspiring young people? Join E-ACT in a unique split role across Badocks Wood E-ACT Academy and Merchants' E-ACT Academy, where you'll deliver engaging PE lessons, lead sports clubs and competitions, and help pupils build confidence, resilience and healthy lifestyles. Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons for pupils across a range of ages and abilities.
  • Lead lunchtime, after-school and enrichment sports activities to increase participation in physical activity.
  • Organise and support sports festivals, competitions and fixtures across both academies.
  • Act as a positive role model, motivating pupils to develop confidence, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional and educational development, ensuring an inclusive experience for all.
  • Help drive a culture of achievement, participation and excellence in sport across both academies

Pay range: £24,796.00 - SCP3 - 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above), or equivalent.
  • TA3 qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting
  • Demonstrable experience in sport, physical education or a related specialist area
  • Enthusiastic, organised and able to work effectively across two academy sites.
  • Ability to deliver inclusive activities that meet the needs of pupils with a range of educational needs and abilities.
