What skills and experience we're looking for

Essential

  • Experience of planning and working with pupils with significant Autism, ADHD, PDA, sensory difficulties, communication and interaction difficulties, challenging behaviours.
  • Calm, patient, resilient, compassionate, creative person with a sense of humour
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Good team player- Good at building relationships- Good communicator
  • Desirable
    • Preferable experience of working in an autism resource base or centre or special school.
    • Preferable- middle leadership experience
    • Knowledge of SCERTS an advantage
