Lead Teacher - EYFS job summary

Required: Monday 20th April 2020 We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to lead our EYFS team. We are seeking a dynamic teacher with high expectations and a happy disposition. You will need to have a strong track record of (at least) good teaching and excellent pupil progress rates. You will be responsible for developing teaching, learning and assessment across the Early Years curriculum in order to raise achievement. Working with the Head of School, you will plan for effective use and deployment of a highly resourced phase. We set high standards for the quality of teaching and will support you to become an outstanding teacher through the provision of outstanding professional development. We can also offer newly refurbished EYFS spaces, a well-resourced outside area and children who are keen to engage and demonstrate excellent behaviours for learning. As part of Catalyst Academies Trust, a high performing local MAT of five primary schools, you will benefit from support and shared planning. Somers Heath is also a key partner in the Thurrock Primary Teaching School Alliance and this will provide the right candidate with opportunities for career development, including outreach work and ITT support work.
