What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic teacher to take on a leadership role within the Science department at King Edward VI School. The successful candidate will lead on the teaching of Biology, including the coordination and delivery of GCSE, A Level Biology and L3 Medical Science. We are looking for an exceptional practitioner who would like to develop their experience in subject leadership. The successful candidate will have a pro-active approach and excellent communication skills. As Lead teacher for Biology they will have a strategic role in working alongside the Head of Science and Second in Science to shape the development of teaching and learning across the department in order to maximise achievement.
