Lead Teacher for Mathematics job summary

We are looking for an exceptional Mathematics Teacher to compliment the Head of Subject and the Mathematics Leadership team with the aim of ddeveloping and implementing teaching and learning initiatives and strategies throughout the department to raise the teaching practice of all members of staff (for example through mentoring and/or coaching) and therefore raise student standards and progress. The right candidate should be able to role model excellent practice, maintaining a clear focus on outstanding Maths delivery (for example through the delivery of CPD) and take a lead role, working closely with the department to develop, implement and evaluate policies and practice that lead to department improvement
