Required to start as soon as possible

We wish to appoint a passionate and experienced Leader of Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award Scheme. The DofE programme is thriving at Pittville School with high student participation. This is an opportunity to lead the scheme, supporting staff who work within the programme and inspiring students to engage with the course successfully.

This is a casual (claims only) contract. Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is required and some working at weekends, overnight expeditions and during school holidays will be involved.

We are proud to say that our recent OFSTED inspection in 2025 cited that the school remains a 'Good' school, identifying how the school is an 'inclusive school' where “Pupils achieve highly, as reflected in published outcomes” and “Pupils are happy and feel safe in school. They behave well in lessons and around the school site.” We value our staff highly and have established a truly supportive environment where staff training and wellbeing is at the heart of all we do.

The successful candidate will be working with a supportive team of staff.

Closing date for applications is 9.00am on Friday, 3rd October 2025

Applications will be reviewed as they are received until the role is filled. Interviews will be confirmed
