Leader of History job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and ambitious Leader of History to join our successful team. We are seeking an innovative and motivational Leader of History with excellent subject knowledge and the desire and commitment to raise achievement of students at all levels. We are looking to appoint a talented Historian with the strong leadership skills required to lead a highly skilled and enthusiastic team in the continued development of a high quality History curriculum.
The successful applicant must be qualified to teach History at GCSE and A Level. The ability to teach Sociology at A level would also be an advantage, although this is not essential. We are looking for a passionate and inspirational professional who would enjoy working in an exciting and rewarding environment and is prepared to contribute fully to school life.
