What skills and experience we're looking for

You will be:

  • Able to lead the development of PSHE & Citizenship across the academy, including RE.
  • Able to audit gaps in provision and provide proactive solutions.
  • Able to inspire pupils of all abilities to achieve their highest potential in PSHE & Citizenship across at all key stages.
  • Able to lead a team of high achieving specialists.
  • Committed to planning & delivering consistently outstanding teaching & learning across PSHE and RE.
  • Able to contribute to the strategic development of PSHE by implementing new initiatives, monitoring and reporting on key outcomes.
  • Able to plan, execute and evaluate drop-down days.
  • Able to plan CPD for staff delivering PSHE, to enable the sharing of best practice with others, in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Able to liaise with external agencies who support the delivery of PSHE.
  • Committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching in RE and have the ability to share your practice with others in a constructive and collaborative manner, liaising with the Head of RE.
  • Able to uptake any additional responsibilities decided for the successful candidate.
