About this Role

Ninestiles, an Academy is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as Learner Support - Transport. This is a specific role fixed term role with funding provided from a specific learner. The role will entail supporting the learner in accessing alternative provision and remaining on site in case the learner requires any assistance or support during the day 2 days a week.

To undertake the role of guide for named learner to access their alternative provision either/or by:

  • travelling on a hired vehicle (taxi, private hire car).
  • walking with learner.
  • using public transport.

The role will require the post holder remaining on site at the alternative provision in case the learner requires any assistance or support during the day.

If the learner is absent then the role will be based in the academy with the post holder assisting and supporting teaching, learning and assessment across the curriculum

This is a Fixed Term post to provide additional educational support for a named Learner. The expiry of the role is expected to be May 2026 or sooner if the learner leaves.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential - training will be provided.
