Learning Assistant job summary

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Learning Assistant to join our dedicated team at The Bramble Academy. This is a fixed-term position until July 2027.This role is specifically focused on providing one-to-one support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, helping them to access learning opportunities, develop their independence, and achieve their individual potential within the school environment.As a Learning Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers, the inclusion team, and other professionals to deliver tailored support that meets the individual needs of the pupils you support. Responsibilities will include adapting learning activities, promoting engagement in lessons, supporting social and emotional development, and helping to create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.The successful candidate will be patient, caring, and committed to making a meaningful difference to the educational experiences of children with additional needs. Previous experience of supporting pupils with SEND would be beneficial, although a willingness to learn and a passion for supporting children are equally important.If you are enthusiastic about helping children overcome barriers to learning and are eager to make a positive impact on their lives, we would love to hear from you.
