The Learning Bridge Support Manager plays a vital role in supporting students to overcome barriers to attendance, engagement and learning, helping them successfully transition back into mainstream education. Working closely with teaching, pastoral and attendance teams, you will coordinate personalised support plans for students experiencing challenges such as emotion-based school avoidance (EBSA), mental health needs, medical needs and other pastoral concerns. The role involves creating a positive, nurturing and engaging environment where students can build confidence, resilience and independence while continuing their academic progress. You will develop strong relationships with students, families and external agencies, providing targeted support and regular communication to promote successful outcomes. As a key member of the school's pastoral team, you will monitor attendance, identify barriers to learning and contribute to interventions that encourage re-engagement and achievement. The successful candidate will champion high expectations for all students, promoting wellbeing, inclusion and positive behaviour while supporting students through periods of transition. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to young people's lives within a school committed to excellence, outstanding pastoral care and ensuring every student can thrive academically, socially and personally. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
