Weekly working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am -4.00pm & Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm

We are seeking to recruit a new member of staff to join a busy Special Educational Needs Department as a Learning Coach working with teachers to support pupils to access the curriculum in allsubjects across the curriculum in Years 7 – 11.
Applicants should be good communicators, empathetic, creative, and passionate about education and maximizing potential. Applicants must be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly with diverse needs, is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Key requirements include:
- Commitment to working to a high standard to support educational excellence for pupils
- Excellent organising, planning and prioritising skills
- Patience and assertiveness.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to relate well to pupils, parents/carers, staff and other professionals.
- Good standard of literacy.

- Ability to work constructively as part of a team.
