Learning coach (teaching assistant 2a)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding role where you will play an important part in supporting pupils' learning, development and wellbeing.
Vacancy Details
- Hours: 30.83 hours per week
- Working Pattern: 7:25am – 3:20pm
Essential Requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above (or equivalent).
- Experience of working with children or young people is desirable.
- A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach.
- Someone who could potentially work in any area of our school (from 2 years to 11 years old)
Key Responsibilities
Under direction, you will:
- Support the supervision and care of pupils, including those with special educational needs.
- Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy and safe learning environment.
- Engage children in purposeful play and physical activities.
- Support pupils with their personal, social and emotional development.
- Supervise and interact positively with pupils, encouraging good behaviour and positive social skills.
- Assist in creating an environment where effective learning can take place.
- Work in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.
