Learning Coach job summary
For September 2022, we are looking to appoint an additional Learning Coach to work with students in receipt of Pupil Premium funding. The post holder will join an existing team of two Learning Coaches, who provide the day-to-day support of students in receipt of Pupil Premium funding. The role will include the running of an after-school homework club, supporting breakfast cub and providing in-class support.
In addition, there will be the need to co-ordinate meetings with a range of agencies to support students and families. The post holder will be expected to liaise with class teachers, other support staff and parents to promote positive outcomes in this student group.
The successful candidate should be proactive and dedicated to raising the profile and improving outcomes for the targeted group. You will need to be prepared to support a wide range of students, be flexible, enjoy working with young people and very importantly retain a sense of humour.
