32.5 hours per week for a full-time position 39 weeks per year. £19,237 (£25,126 FTE)

About the Role
Learning Mentors at Astor will play a vital role in supporting our students—particularly those who may face challenges in accessing learning. You will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them to build confidence, improve attendance, overcome barriers to learning, and develop strategies for success both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to identified students to improve academic progress and personal wellbeing
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and welfare teams to deliver coordinated mentoring plans
- Monitor and track student progress, behaviour, and attendance
- Deliver motivational sessions, build trust, and act as a positive role model
- Help students set and achieve realistic goals

- Experience working with secondary-aged students (in a school or youth work setting preferred)
