Learning Mentor job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Learning Mentor. We are recruiting for two positions: one permanent role and one fixed-term maternity cover post.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week - term time only - plus 3 additional days - 8:30am - 4pm (30 mins unpaid lunch)

  • Work closely with students to help them overcome barriers to learning and unlock their full potential.
  • Promote the need for excellent attendance to support outstanding outcomes for all leaners
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure every student makes progress across the curriculum.
  • Provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support to help students achieve their best outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

  • A caring and approachable individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Someone who can build strong relationships and inspire confidence in students.
  • Experience in a pastoral or mentoring role is desirable, but a genuine commitment to student success is essential.
