Learning Mentor job summary
We are seeking to employ a part-time Learning Mentor, to support and cover classes to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of the curriculum. The successful applicant will work with children in Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, covering curriculum lessons across all year groups.
You will be expected to deliver pre-planned learning activities and establish productive working relationships with students in a stimulating and orderly learning environment. You will be expected to mark any work you deliver.
Candidates should be passionate and ambitious with a drive and commitment to improve the life chances of our young people. You will have a dynamic, exceptional and creative approach to improving the teaching and learning in a way that benefits all children.
Recent teaching or teaching assistant experience would be beneficial.

Elm Academy is a primary school situated in Bournemouth; it provides education to mainstream nursery/primary pupils aged from 3-11 years from West Howe and the local surrounding areas.
