Salary range: Grade G, point 8 (£20,852 FTE)
We have an exciting and rare opportunity to recruit a Learning Mentor to join our established and experienced team supporting pupils with special educational needs at Exeter. The current vacancy is within the school’s SEN provisions; however, the successful post-holder may be re-deployed to other areas of the school to support emerging needs in forthcoming years. Our SEN provisions currently comprise of three classes, which include a provision for pupils with social and emotional needs, a provision for KS1 pupils with communication and interaction needs and a provision for KS2 pupils with communication and interaction needs and cognition and learning needs.
The successful candidate will:

The Learning Mentor will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow school policies and the staff code of conduct.

This post is for 34 hours a week, 39 weeks a year. This is term time plus staff training days. The post holder may need to be flexible with their working hours.
