Do you believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the barriers they face?

At King's Academy Prospect, we know that the right support at the right time can transform a student's confidence, engagement and achievement. We're looking for a passionate, caring and resilient Learning Intervention Mentor to join our dedicated SEND and Inclusion team, working closely with our SENCo to help students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

This is an incredibly rewarding role where no two days are the same. One moment you could be delivering a literacy intervention, the next supporting a student to re-engage with learning after time out of a lesson, or working alongside teachers to adapt learning so every student can experience success.

Why you'll love working here:

  • Make a real difference every day: Support students academically, socially and emotionally, helping them build confidence, resilience and independence that extends far beyond the classroom.
  • Be part of a dedicated inclusion team: Work alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to removing barriers to learning and ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Develop your skills: Receive training in specialist intervention programmes, behaviour support strategies and inclusive practice while gaining valuable experience within a supportive secondary school environment.
What we need from you:
  • You are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning, with the belief that every student can succeed with the right support.
  • You can build positive, trusting relationships with students while maintaining high expectations.
  • You are patient, adaptable and calm - even in challenging situations.
