What skills and experience we're looking for
Applications are invited from someone who:
- Will show a full support of the Catholic ethos and be prepared to develop a secure understanding of the nature of the Catholic school.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude when working with children.
- Develop strong relationships with children and families
- Deliver interventions and structured play activities that are exciting and engaging for a range of different pupils.
- Is able to support staff members in promoting positive relationships following the Trauma Informed approach
- Is able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Is able to take an active role in the development of our school alongside our team of professionals.
- Has the skills, energy and passion required to support excellent outcomes for our children.
- Is creative and nurturing with high expectations for all children’s learning, spiritual, social and emotional development and behaviour.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School for a Learning Mentor. We ensure that through a diverse curriculum and broad range of opportunities, we prepare our children to tackle new endeavours with confidence and flair.
