Learning Mentor/Thrive Practitioner job summary
Contract Details: Part time, hours to be negotiated, 39 weeks per year

The Beeches Primary requires an experienced Learning Mentor/ Thrive Practitioner to join our successful school. This is a great opportunity for you to work more closely with our team of dedicated staff, wonderful children and wider community.
You will:
Be passionate about removing barriers for learning
Provide educational support for pupils with social, communication, emotional and behavioural difficulties
Provide classroom support throughout the school with an understanding and commitment to inclusion
Commit to raising the achievement of all children
Be a good communicator with the ability to work effectively with other agencies and families
Be enthusiastic, empathetic, patient and non-judgmental
Be passionate about the benefits of the Thrive approach and be a licensed Thrive Practitioner (or be willing and committed to undertake training)
Have experience in assessment, action planning, support and monitoring of Thrive assessments
You will be expected to have experience and a professional approach to working with children and families. A good sense of humour and a commitment to life-long learning are essential.
