What skills and experience we're looking for

Plympton Academy is seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive Learning Resources, Reprographics & Reading Intervention Assistant to join our friendly office team.

This is a varied and impactful role for someone who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about supporting literacy, learning and student success. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing our Learning Resource Centre, coordinating reprographics services and delivering reading interventions, helping to foster a positive reading culture across the academy.

  • Promote LRC (Learning Resources Centre) engagement to maximise student use and support a vibrant reading culture.
  • Manage the selection, development, and procurement of resources.
  • Manage the school’s reprographics service, including daily printing of cover work and teaching materials.
  • Support the school’s literacy and reading strategy.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to improve reading fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
  • Assess and track student progress using appropriate literacy tools.
