  • Experience of working within a school is essential.
  • Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and good ICT skills.
  • Patient, flexible and adaptable, meticulous and conscientious.
  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs.

The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a teacher to work at East Huntspill Primary Academy. This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join us on a permanent basis. East Huntspill is an exciting, forward thinking, rural primary academy with strong vision: We Learn; We Achieve; We Flourish. The school has a very dedicated, strong team who work creatively, in partnership with families, to enable children to achieve great outcomes. We also place great emphasis on supporting children on a social and emotional level and have a strong ethos of inclusion in relation to our SEND children.

We are part of The Priory Learning Trust, comprising of local primary and secondary schools, enabling us to work closely with a range of practitioners from all phases of education. This is a very exciting time for East Huntspill and a great time to join our primary schools.
We are looking for a teacher to join us for a full time post, in year 4 in the first instance, from April 2023 and the position is open to Early Career Teachers as well as TMS and UPS. This is a great opportunity to join our team and develop your career with The Priory Learning Trust.
